With a BDS from Guy’s Hospital Dental School and a PhD in the efficacy and safety of teeth whitening processes from the University of Bolton, Dr Wyman Chan is the inventor of non-invasive, scientifically safe dental bleaching — a body of work adopted by tens of thousands of dentists around the world.
Seven UK and US patents, including Perfect Trays, which has been refined in surgery for more than two decades. Over twenty thousand non-invasive bleaching cases performed in his own London clinic, plus treatment planning for dentists worldwide. A peer reviewer for the British Dental Journal, an Associate Professor at Ulster University’s College of Medicine and Dentistry, and a senior clinical lecturer for the Masters programme in Aesthetic Dentistry.
His expertise in creating Hollywood smiles has drawn in Rebel Wilson, Nicole Scherzinger, Adele, Cheryl Cole, and Jessie J. BBC’s The One Show, The Truth About Your Teeth, Fake Britain, Radio 5 Live, and Sky Living have all featured his work. None of which, he’d be the first to point out, matters more than whether a product sits calmly in an ordinary patient’s mouth on an ordinary Tuesday.

Dr Jaz Gulati

Jaz is a General Dentist with an unusually fluent interest in ortho-restorative dentistry, occlusion, and the conservative management of temporo-mandibular disorders — the kind of dentist other dentists listen to when they’re figuring out a stubborn case.
Qualified from Sheffield University with Clinical Distinction in 2013, followed by restorative DCT posts at Guy’s Hospital and Charles Clifford Dental Hospital. He now runs Protrusive Dental Podcast, which has quietly become one of the most popular dental podcasts in the world with listeners in over 150 countries. A self-confessed “Dentistry Geek”, he co-leads the Dentinal Tubules Study Clubs and lectures regularly on his Real World Occlusion framework and on dental splints.
On DOCS, Jaz is the voice you’ll hear when the topic turns to adjunct restorative thinking, occlusion, and the long clinical game. The sort of counsel that saves a case from becoming a drama six months down the line.

Sunny, as most colleagues know him, has spent the last decade making a quiet sport of restoring what other dentists had marked for extraction. Composite done properly, in difficult places, on teeth that deserve another run at life.
As the director of DRE Composite, he’s dedicated himself to sharing that skillset with dentists around the world — empowering them to restore the unrestorable, one hands-on course at a time. He’s the only dentist in the world to have been mentored by Greater Curve inventor Dr Dennis Brown, and his hands-on programmes now focus on the Greater Curve Matrix System for anterior and posterior restorative work.
His love of teaching was sharpened in the Army Reserves, which is perhaps why his courses run with a quiet discipline. In his own practice, he co-founded N1 Dental — Islington’s first biological dental clinic — where the same philosophy of conservation and care drives everything from the check-up to the final restoration.

Thirteen years chairside, and a quiet fascination with the tools that make dentistry feel kinder, both for the patient and for the clinician. Direct Oral Care Solutions is my attempt to put those tools into other UK practices’ hands.
Trained directly by Dr Wyman Chan and his team in dental wellness, self-dental-healing, and non-invasive whitening. I bring a gentle, minimally invasive approach to every case, and I’m a firm believer in working with the body rather than against it — helping people keep more of their natural teeth, and feel genuinely confident about their smile.
Beyond my own clinic, I travel and teach across the UK and around the world, mentoring fellow dentists in non-invasive aesthetic and wellness-led treatments. Slowly and quietly building a community of clinicians who care as much about how an appointment feels as how it ends.
When I’m not in surgery or in front of a lecture room, I’m watching cricket and football — or playing them, when my knees allow.
