A world first
DWC8
The world’s first teeth desensitiser that whitens.
Two jobs, one gel. DWC8 calms sensitive teeth and gently whitens them at the same time — the first product in the world to do both. Lovely for patients you’d normally have to turn away from whitening on sensitivity grounds.
Carbamide peroxide · up to 2 VITA shades per two-week course · adult UK & EU use.
Chapter One
For patients other whitening ruled out.
Every practice has them. The patient who’d love to whiten but whose teeth zing at a cold breath. The ortho graduate with post-treatment white patches. The tooth-grinder with receded gingiva. DWC8 is Dr Wyman Chan’s answer to a specific clinical problem: how do you whiten a patient who can’t tolerate conventional whitening?
A carbamide peroxide gel that desensitises teeth while it whitens them, in the same tray, across the same two-hour wear. High-alkaline chemistry promotes calcium and phosphate uptake into the enamel; the formulation is calibrated for remineralisation first, shade change second.
The result is up to two VITA shades lighter per two-week course, with sensitivity typically settling inside the first five to seven days. For the patients other whitening systems quietly rule out, DWC8 is the yes.
The only product in dentistry that combines desensitising and whitening in one tray.

Chapter Two
Three clinical jobs, one gel.
Why DWC8 earns its place in the drawer of practices that see a lot of sensitive patients.
Desensitises, genuinely.
Advanced alkaline formula promotes remineralisation, strengthens damaged enamel, and reduces dentinal tubule exposure. The desensitising effect usually lasts five to seven days beyond the end of treatment.
Whitens, gently.
Simultaneously activates a measured whitening process, delivering up to 2 VITA shades lighter per two-week course. Not the fastest whitener on the shelf — the point is that the patient actually finishes the course without dropping out.
Remineralises white patches.
The same chemistry that buffers sensitivity does a quiet secondary job of reversing post-orthodontic white-patch demineralisation. Non-invasive, predictable, and a relief for patients who finished Invisalign and noticed the spots.
Chapter Three
The clinical specification.
Chapter Four
Two weeks, real shade change.
Cases from clinicians in the Dr Wyman Chan certified dentist network using DWC8 chairside on the patients other whitening systems quietly turned away.
Each case below shows DWC8 doing its two jobs in the same tray: gentle, measured shade change without the sensitivity that usually drops a patient out by day five.

Questions we get most often.
Can DWC8 be painted on teeth like Magic 3 and Get2Smile?
No. DWC8 must be used in trays or retainers, for a minimum of 2 hours per session.
Can DWC8 be used for patients with generalised sensitivity?
Yes — it’s ideal for them. That’s the whole clinical niche the product exists to serve.
Can DWC8 be used by under-18s?
No. In the UK and EU, DWC8 is licensed for adults (18+) only. For under-18 plaque control, see Magic 3 — our MHRA Class I medical device cleared for any age.
Can DWC8 be combined with HP6 & Perfect Trays or HP6 & Get2Smile?
Yes. In many cases sensitivity improves within a week of DWC8, at which point you can transition the patient onto HP6 & Perfect Trays or HP6 & Get2Smile for their main whitening run.
